Bathtime!

Kristin was determined to give me a bath....I really did not want it but I had no choice. And Auntie Lisa wanted me to be nice and clean for my family.

We went for walk down at Port Union community beach. I played in the water, met some dogs and got lots of treats. Then we played rope pull in the backyard. Alison and Kristen made me practice my tricks again....we want to ensure that Michelle is happy with my progress.

Big party tomorrow! I can't wait. Belly scratches, treats and lots of attention are in store for me tomorrow. Yippee!

I'm Really Likin' This Life....

My family better come home soon cause' I am never gonna' want to leave Aunt Lisa. This is the best vacation ever!

Nice Comfy Cat Bed.....

I don't think Homer, Oliver and Jersey will mind if I just curl up in this little cat bed....oooohhh, it just fits me perfectly.....awwww.....see, they are in their cat house and don't seem to mind.

Party Time! I Love A Party!!

So many new people to play with, belly scratches, crumbs and scraps to gobble up off the floor. I have been running around all day. When is Aunt Lisa going to let me go to bed?

My Feline Cousins.

Homer has finally started to come out of hiding. He will now get as close to the 2nd level of his cat house (but he prefers the house on top to stay away from my loud barking).

I thought Oliver was trying to steal Mr. Duck....

MMMmmmmm......Beef Prime Rib Bone. Aunt Lisa Rock's!

This was a great way for Aunt Lisa to get some work done around the house....I was occupied for hours with those two bones.

Is this a guilty face?

Hee hee. Silly Auntie Lisa. She forgot to take the cat food up off the floor and put if out of my reach of my canine way. I ran into the cat feeding room and scarfed down the bowls of cat food before Auntie Lisa got to me!! Yummy. There is way more chicken in that cat food. Sorry Michelle - Aunt Lisa goofed and Holly got an extra meal. Tomorrow will be a three poop day!

Free at Last!

After our walk tonight, Aunt Lisa let me run around the house with my cousins. They are getting better with me. I don't understand why they don't want to play? Oliver still sits on that table and stares at me with contempt...Homer is in the basement hiding.... Jersey hung out in the living room with me tonight, but he ran off when I started barking at him. I don't get it.

I'm very happy. Auntie Lisa is going to stay home this weekend, spend time with me and have friends over to visit. Friday is grumpy Mike (does not like animals - freak!) and Auntie Karin on Sunday (I can't wait!!).

Mr. Duck is not doing well....

Mr. Duck is losing the stuffing in his head. It is all over the living room floor now. But, Auntie Lisa is happy to report that no Crocs were eaten/injured in the making of this blog.

I am sitting on Auntie Lisa's bed waiting for her to come to bed and snuggle with me. I am all ready for bed....Jersey is in the cat bed beside me and Oliver is hanging out with Aunt Lisa (trying to get some attention) and Homer is hiding in the closet. Auntie Lisa just wanted to post this one last picture before she went to bed......

Cottage Time!!!

Wow, I just had the BEST weekend. I got to run around all weekend, often without my leash. I was so tired last night, Aunt Lisa kept waking me up while we were curled up on the couch watching TV. Does she not understand how exhausted I am after the weekend up at Vivien's cottage????

I slept like a log last night. I did not even want to get out of Aunt Lisa's bed this morning...until I heard my food ball shaking. Then I realized: Breakfast time!

Here I am with Alison and Kristen. They were so much fun. They loved me, let me snuggle with them on the couch, let me sleep on their laps in the car, kept bugging Aunt Lisa to give me more treats. They are the best!

We stopped at the Stouffville Market because it was pouring rain. Aunt Vivien carried me in so I would not get wet paws (she is so sweet). They are very dog friendly in the market. I was allowed to browse around with the people. This old man gave me doggy treats - jerky. YUM!! And there were all kinds of dogs there - lots of doggy bums to sniff.

We went to the beach and watched Kristen go swimming....Then we stopped in Orillia to buy some fudge and ice cream. I got to meet all kinds of people and other dogs.

We finally arrived at the cottage and I got to go swimming!!!!!!!!!! I love swimming.

Alison and Kristen have been making me practice my tricks.

And I got to snuggle with the whole family. It was so much fun. My favourite thing!!

Long Days...

Aunt Lisa has been good to me but boy, she is gone for a long day. My cousins don't offer me much entertainment. That Oliver just sits on the dining room table and stares at me. I wag my tail and try to get him to play but he won't.

This is all that Oliver does all day...how much can a cat sleep????

Auntie Lisa walks me every morning and twice in the evening. We have been to some cool places. Tonight she took me to East Point Park. She did not even know where she was going. There were not many doggy smells there so I ran and ran and she tripped a lot.

Does she still serve t-bones at this hotel?

Holly:

Wow, it had been a lonnngggg day.....9 hours at Mark and Sylvia's party, running around with Maddie, the Australian Shepherd. I'd forgotten what is was like to be a puppy (I'm big now - almost 2 in human years). Maddie could not understand that her toys are my toys. All the humans were pre-occupied so they did not notice the mischief we were getting in. What a fun party but I was exhausted.

Aunt Lisa let me sleep in her bed that night. We just fell into bed and I snuggled up. My feline cousins - Oliver, Jersey and Homer - were not impressed. I think I have taken their spot in the bed with Aunt Lisa.

Oliver was not impressed; Jersey less so and Homer was just 'confused'. Oliver made this high pitched "mew" at the closed bedroom door but ran off to hide when I tried to greet him under the door frame, barking with tail in full wag, flitting back and forth so much with my usual doggy excitement ("Let's play. Let's play!"). Oliver tore off to the basement to his high perched safe zone atop the wardrobe.

I thought that would fix Oliver but I was wrong. He is not letting me take his territory. Jersey won't either. Poor Homer...he just runs away. I think he has a hiding spot on the closet in Uncle Greg's room. I will leave him alone.
